So how much does it cost?

There is a session fee of $100 and a minimum product purchase of $200. This means to book a session $300 is due to hold the session time.

Do you offer packages?

Absolutely! We offer basic packages up to designer packages, where you can pick what you want in your package. Packages include desk prints, wallets, web images and more. Plus, all packages besides our most basic package include a beautiful framed print. Custom albums, videos, composite prints, graduation announcements and many more products are also available.

What is the process?

Usually, we will have a pre-shoot consultation first and set up a date.  A session includes 1-2 hours of us shooting on location.  I then spend a few hours in front of a computer reducing all the pictures I took down to 20-30 keepers, post-processing them and generally making them even more beautiful than before. 1-2 weeks after the shoot we will set up a time to get together so I can show you the finished portfolio and you can order what you want.

What is a pre-shoot consultation?

At this time we will discover what locations work best for you and what type of pictures you prefer.  I will also go over the different products I offer, their prices and answer any questions you may have. If, during this meeting, we discover that you don’t like me or our personalities don’t match, we can walk away friends.  I would rather you have a great portrait session with someone else rather than not have any fun with me. “That’s crazy! You should want our money!” I don’t simply do this for money. Photography is my passion and at the point it isn’t fun is the point where I stop.  That being said, I’m a very fun guy and I’m sure you’ll love me.

Where is your studio?

Excellent question.  As Shakespeare once said, “All the world’s a studio…..”  Ok, maybe he didn’t say that, but he might have if he was a location photographer.  No, I don’t have a studio, nor do I want one.  The world is too interesting a place to take pictures with fake plants and plaster columns.  I would rather scout out new and amazing locations rather than have 25 different mottled grey backgrounds.  If you are into that kind of stuff, I can recommend some good studios here in town.  It just isn’t my style.

How many different locations can I choose?

We will discuss this at length in the pre-shoot consultation, but the short answer is as many as you want. Just understand that we have a certain amount of time to shoot and the more time we spend driving, the less time we spend shooting. Out of town locations are available for an additional fee.

How many outfits can I wear?

One at a time. Ok, I thought it was funny.  Real answer: Same as above. The more time you spend changing the less pictures we get, but the choice is completely up to you.  They are your pictures.
